Just a thought, but wasn't the Neolithic revolution ultimately negative? Many farmers and herders were often malnourished.(3 votes)- Yeah, it was quite negative on the health of populations. The new lifestyle proved to be more arduous than the hunter-gatherer lifestyle, malnutrition was an abundant issue, diseases were more prevalent, plus other issues made life expectancies much shorter, too. Even though all of these negative things occurred, it's fair to say that there were more positive times when food production increased, therefore trade increased, etc. But one could definitely argue that it produced outcomes that were more negative than positive. Needless to say, though, we can't discount the Neolithic revolution because to this day, farming is still extremely important and vital. Farmers were able to create bigger food supplies, sustain larger populations, expand trade, fueled the creation of new inventions, innovation prospered in turn, etc. Not to mention, nearly everything we eat consists of things that originate on farms. What goes on in said farms is a totally different story, but focusing solely on availability to resources and sustaining society, it would turn out to be beneficial in the long run, even though there were definite disadvantages at the time.(1 vote)
Is this the shortest article yet or what? Honestly I like these comics they are fun to read not because it teaches you but the comic part I would read this on my own if they were not educational either way I would read these they are probably the best part of khan academy do not quote me on that(1 vote)
